News for the new year

I've not posted in a while so I figured it was time to put something to paper. First and foremost, L'Shana Tova to all of you who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah. This year is going to be a good one, and we are going to see alot of positive changes in the world.

The school year seems to be treating me well, but as sure as hurricane season rolls around or football season occurs, the superintendent of schools told us to brace for more cuts. Welcome to the new economy, I guess. My school has been forced to cut staff so significantly that I am expected to be covering more than one class at the same time, and sometimes even three. Well, considering that I need to go on Weight Watchers, this should help. Considering the number of people looking for work, I'm thankful to have a job.

Rather than continue and talk about the ills of the world, teabaggers, the healthcare system, or intolerance, I'm going to relax and enjoy the beginning of " Operation Break Brett", that should start in about 3 hrs.
